Where the data comes from, and who owns it.
The questions teams ask us before they ask about anything else, answered plainly.
Control and monitoring panels, Enloe Dam powerhouse, Similkameen River, Washington. HAER WA-1-A-16.
The data
- Where does the data come from?
- The public record: council and board agendas, budgets and capital plans, grants and state revolving fund lists, design contracts, procurement portals, and the specs, drawings and addenda themselves. Plus anything you send us.
- Does it cover our market?
- We go through coverage for your market on the demo. Capveon reads municipal, state and federal work across wastewater, heavy civil, industrial, transportation and utilities.
- How current is it?
- Sources are read continuously. When a new document appears, the project it belongs to is updated and you hear about it if it matters to you.
- Does it replace the services we already use?
- No. Capveon reads what they deliver alongside the public record, and does the reading after.
Accuracy
- How accurate is it?
- Every answer opens to the document and page it came from. When the documents do not say, the answer says unknown instead of guessing.
- Do we have to re-check everything?
- No. You check what you are about to act on, and each check is one click to the page. When your team says yes or no to a project, Capveon learns what counts as yours.
- What if a project isn’t public yet?
- Send it to us. Specs from an engineer, a feed you receive or your inbox are read the same way as the public record.
Your data and your workflows
- Who owns our data?
- You do. Nothing you connect is used to improve another customer’s results, and it is never used to train models.
- Who owns our workflows?
- Your team. What Capveon looks for, who gets which project and what happens next are written out where you can see and change them. Nothing is sent or written to your systems until someone approves it.
- What can it read and change?
- Every connection starts read-only. Writing to a system is turned on by you, per system, and every write is approved by a person first.
- What happens if we leave?
- Disconnect a system and its data is removed. Leave Capveon and your account is deleted, with written confirmation.
Getting started
- What does it connect to?
- Salesforce, HubSpot, SharePoint, Google Drive, Outlook, Slack. You can start with none of them: the public record is enough for the first day.
- Do we have to change systems?
- No. Capveon works beside the CRM and tools you already use, and adds to them only when you say so.
- Will you complete our security review?
- Yes. We answer questionnaires and share our policies under NDA. Write to hello@capveon.ai.
- What happens on the demo?
- Bring a few projects you are looking at, or the market you want to be in. We go through them with you: what each one is, whether it is yours, and what you would do next.

Bring the work you’re looking at.
Thirty minutes on your own projects. We go through what each one is, whether it’s yours, and what to do next.
