Read for the product lines you name. If the bid has nothing of yours in it, we say so, and that takes thirty seconds to read instead of thirty minutes.

- Named, or equal, or not named
- Whether the spec names you with no equal, names you with “or equal”, or names no one, and which of your competitors it names.
- BABA
- Whether Build America, Buy America applies, and the funding that brings it in.
- Bond and insurance
- The bid bond, the performance and payment bonds, and the insurance limits.
- Engineer of record

Questions
Who reads the bid?
A person on our team reads the whole package, drawings included, and writes down the page behind every answer so you can check any of them in a minute.
How long does it take?
You'll hear back within one business day. If the documents sit behind a login, we'll email you to ask for them, and the day starts when we have them.
Which bids can you read?
Any public bid from a US or Canadian agency that comes with a spec: water and wastewater plants, pump stations, pipelines, buildings, roads. Paste the link from the agency's own site or portal, or tell us the bid and the agency and we'll find it.
What does “or equal” mean in a spec?
A spec that names one or more products and adds “or equal” or “or approved equal” lets another maker bid a product the engineer accepts as the same. A spec that names one product with no equal is a hard spec, often to match equipment the owner already runs. A performance spec names no maker at all and sets what the product has to do.
What does it cost?
Nothing, and we won't ask for a card. Capveon reads every bid in a territory this way for its customers. This is one bid, read for you, so you can judge the read yourself.
What happens to what I send?
We use it to read this bid and to write back to you, and for nothing else. Our privacy policy has the details.
Send us the next bid on your desk.
We'll read it for your products and email it back within one business day, with the page behind every answer.
