What you’re missing with ConstructConnect.

What ConstructConnect does well. ConstructConnect publishes its prices, carries private commercial projects as well as public ones, and sells takeoff software that estimators already know.

  • Every market and every seat is another line on the bill

Project Intelligence is $129 a month per market, per seat on Starter and from $199 a month per market, per seat on Professional. More markets go through sales, and Premium starts at $10,000 a year. Two estimators covering two markets on Professional is four licenses.1

  • A year you can't pause or leave

Professional needs an annual contract. ConstructConnect's own FAQ says subscriptions run for the full term, can't be paused, and aren't refunded if you cancel mid-term. Its subscription agreement renews for another term of the same length unless cancelled.12

  • No plans, specs or planning projects on the entry plan

The $129 Starter plan lists project details and contacts. Plans, specs, addenda, planning projects and exports start on Professional, which is the annual plan.1

  • Searching a spec isn't the same as qualifying the bid

Professional includes keyword search and Ask Docs, which searches a project's documents when you ask it something. Capveon answers the same questions on every bid before anyone opens it, so the estimator starts from a filled-in table.1

What Capveon does differently.

The work ConstructConnect leaves to your team, done for you, on the screens you’d use.

Every state, one price.

Set your trades and how far you'll travel. Capveon checks every agency inside that line, from the state DOT to the water district, including the ones that only post on their own website. Add a state whenever you like. The price doesn't change.

How Discover works

The bond and insurance, before you download.

Reviews reads every page and addendum and fills in the columns you check first: bid bond, performance bond, insurance limits, license, mandatory pre-bid. Each answer shows its page, so your estimator opens only the bids worth pricing.

How Reviews works

Know what's coming before it's bid.

A school board hires an architect for a roof job. A city adopts a capital plan with a water main in it. Signals shows you the vote or the plan, with the line from the record, on every plan.

You don't have to leave mid-term. Start the trial a few weeks before your renewal date and compare the two lists for your market.

  1. Set your trades and your area

Describe your work in a sentence and set how far you'll drive. Add every state you bid in.

  2. Pick the columns you check first

Bid bond, insurance limits, license, pre-bid meeting, due date. Every bid in your area gets them filled in.

  3. Count what each one found

Look for the bids Capveon found that ConstructConnect didn't, and the ones your estimator didn't have to open.

Questions

Is Capveon cheaper than ConstructConnect?

It depends on how many markets and people you have. Capveon is $299, $499 or $999 a month with every state and unlimited seats. ConstructConnect is $129 or from $199 a month for each market and each seat. One person in one market pays less on ConstructConnect Starter. A team bidding in several states usually pays less on Capveon.

Does Capveon have private projects?

No. Capveon covers work that government agencies buy: federal, state and local, including school districts and utilities. If private commercial work is a big share of your bids, keep a service for that.

Can I get the plans and specs?

Each bid links to the agency's own page, where the documents are posted, and Reviews reads them for you, including each addendum. If the agency makes you register as a plan holder first, the review tells you.

Do you do takeoff?

No. Capveon finds the bids, reads them and drafts the paperwork. Keep your takeoff software for quantities you measure yourself.
